Cross Country

In the morning  I  came to school. when the bell rang  I went to sit on the mat for  the roll when the roll was finished  we went outside for the fun run. We had to line up in our year group's. A teacher called the year four's  to run. When we ran I got tired but it was fun as well. We ran around the field then the court's, outside the school. I saw teacher's cheering. When i got back I saw other kids running I had a stitch but i still ran. I went to sit  on the on the field and it started to rain so we went to the hall and we sat and we were cheering  for the year 8 and 7 because they have to run three times around the whole school. when they were finished  we went inside the hall to do zumba  because it was raining outside. after zumba  we went back class and done grass to glass. when the lunch bell rang the sausage and juices came. when the eating bell rang I ate 2 sausages  and it was
yummy!!!! In the afternoon we put up  the chair's and went to the hall. because the people who was 1st or second , third. I was really proud of the people who got the certificate. We went back to our class and kept going on our glass to glass.

Manaiakalani film festival

On Wednesday I went to class and sat on the mat. Mrs pohlen  drew a person we had to draw the persons face with different  shapes. The morning tea bell rang early because we were not aloud to bring our bags to Silvia park. When the morning tea bell rang to get in to class we had to tidy up because we had to go in the bus in 10 minutes. When we tided up we  sat on the mat because Lara and Spencer had to practise for the last time. Then we went to the front of the school. We saw four buses. we went in the bus with room 8. The bus was loud and noisy. It was the best ride ever. When we arrived we had  to line up  and went next to h&m it was loud. we went up the stairs to the movies. Then we went to find our seat. The screen was huge!! Then it started there were some funny videos. when the videos finished the light turned on and it was bright then we went to the bus and went. The bus that took us back to school was very nice. when we arrived to school and we did maths questions and then we had a long playtime. But after lunch we had athletics. It was fun!! I liked the animal video and our grass to glass.

Room 7 Assembly

When the bell rang room 7 ran to the hall because it was raining. The juniors were late so we just started  with out the juniors. And I heard the rain .I felt very nerves .I Wonder if I make a mistake. Khin Lin was shy. It was fun at the end because the whole school sang and danced.  when we told what we are grateful for I was proud of me. some of my class mates was confident. It  was awesome!.My best moment is dancing.

Cultural festival

Last week Thursday we had an very exciting  day. When the morning tea bell rang we ate. After morning tea we went to our cultural festival.  I was in the Fiji group.We got ready and  walked to the field and sat down. I was with Pepe and Lara . Kapa haka was first and New Entrants was second. Fiji was third. Fourth was Niuean  and fifth Samoa then the  Tongan.

Mosaic art

What is mosaic art ? Mosaic is little square's that you can make  an image  like a mountain or   Rangitoto , or the beach. we used   so much glitter  ,   and paint gold  and silver and brown, and some mosaic paper  sand that was blue and green and glue . First we had to sketch and put the square's and glue it on. last week we went to  the art exhibition. when i walked in i was surprise.When i was looking around and  the art was nice but i liked Kin Lin sisters art work. and room 10 clay animal's. Powhiri Day

We had powhiri in the hall. We were  welcoming new teachers and students and the new families.  The  Kapa Haka group were  singing songs. Their colour were red white and blue on their Kapa Haka  cloths.They were singers. The boys were doing Haka. It was amazing. people were talking Maori  to the new people . I was so proud of my cousin.

Solar system

I learnt about the planets. Jupiter is the biggest planet the ring are small rocks.Venus is beautiful . Mars is  red. The sun is a star. In space there is no gravity. Saturn is small then Jupiter bigger then earth. Mercury and Venus is the  hottest   Mercury has no air so nobody can  live there. Mars is the only  red planet  and it is really cold. The sun is a big star. Earth moves around the sun in one year .Mercury and Venus are very hot .

Glen Taylor School

I like Glen Taylor school because  we do  fun learning. We do art  and actives. And a big school  so we can have some friends  so when we are new we  can play with lot of new friends. we have  a nice principal. And some nice Teacher's. We go on cool trips. we do some  writing and maths, reading a book my favritour subject is writing  and maths. Glen Taylor school is the best school in the world!!!

Nadal day at motat

Room 7 went to  MOTAT. My mum was a parent helper she was happy I was with Kin lin,  Sarlett and Easter. When we arrived we lind in one line and nick was talking to us when we walked in they was  a tram that came so we stoped. We went to a room and looked around the room there were old staff and we had a game that was a little hard. Affter that we went  to the village  and it was cool. we went to have lunch becuase we were hungry. we done a scareanga hunt  I saw a creepy doll it was on the chair. we went to the tram and went to the bus and went to school.

Art week

In art week we did mosaic art and it took long to do it.  First we draw it  and put the mosaic. second we colour  in the photo. Third we put glitter and  browns, sever, and gold. It was very fun to do.  it looked amazing.I had 2 helper's easter and miss.

Week 8 Reflection

yesterday we had miss Cox's and Alan in our class room. we went outside to play octopus. Alan  was watching  us all play. we went to the class room and sat on the mat. and Alan was lying down  when the bell went miss v put a movie on. when miss cox's came  we sat on the mat and she read a book affter she read the  book. she  gave us some math sheets. And it was easy. when she said to pack up we went to get our bag's  and went home.

My first blog post

my holidays were fun because I went to a lot of  places. In the morning i went to the shop to get some food for dinner. I went to the mall to get some clothes and some other things. When i  got home  i was a  little hungry so my dad and mum cooked dinner. when we finished dinner me my dad and mum ,sister,  brother. we went to the park  to have fun because it was nearly school when i got home i ate popcorn at night watching a movie and i stayed up until one in the morning. in one in the morning i went to  bed.i woke up at free and went back to bed. when i woke up  i went to brush my teeth and went to the kitchen and ate. we got ready and went in the car and went  to my anties house  to say hi we stayed till night.
